Great car.

I have had the car about 2 years and almost 45,000 miles. Been in the shop for a brake fluid change and two recalls. Don't leave a door open. The computer runs on 12 volts and if that goes ... I think that is common from what I have read with most electric cars.… - 4.0
Happy with my purchase
By Mike | on 1/17/2023 11:35:29 PM
I bought the base model 2020 Kia Niro BEV new in March 2021 and have been very happy with my purchase. I had a Level 2 charger installed in my garage, which makes charging the car extremely easy. I plug in the vehicle at 10 pm and 8-9 hours later it's fully charged. The car's perfect for city driving, but I don't recommend it for long distances since it takes 1 1/2 hours to fully charge the car at a public station; it's not a fast-charging car. Expect 200-220 miles range combined city/highway driving with a full charge. Strictly stop-and-go city driving should achieve 250 miles or higher in range. The base model comes with everything, so I don't recommend the top trim. It handles well except over bumps and potholes. The front driver's and passenger's seats, however, are very uncomfortable, and I am not impressed with the KIA Connect/Access app. My car has 30,000 miles on it and without any infotainment or mechanical issues. The car is definitely not worth $42,000, but it is worth considering if all the federal and state incentives apply.…
